Sea Lemon, Archidoris pseudoargus

Sea Lemon
Archidoris pseudoargus

The Sea Lemon is a sea slug that grows to about 12 cm long.
It feeds on sea sponges in particular the Bread Crumb Sponge, because of this it's not the easiest species to keep in an Aquarium as sponges have to be supplied for it to feed on.
This one was found washed up on the shore at Poole Harbour.

They only live for a year; they die after mating & laying their eggs.
